Alright, so I have a friend and we made this Death Note/Hellsing/Elfen Lied stoy (yeah I know too many animes in one). It started as "what if...?" but then we ended with a story.

Of course, I will still post chapter 2 of Densetsu no Zakura (considered now chapter 1 since I started too fast), but I'd like to see if anyone wants this story posted too. My friend just said he didn't mind me posting it and well, he's too lazy to make a DevArt account and he didn't want to take all the credit since we BOTH made it.

This is what it's about: 50 years have passed since the diclonius incident and people no longer know about the situation, kept secret by the government and those who knew have perished. But now a new threat emerges. A serial murder known as "ONI" is on the loose. Leaving no blood stains on the murder scene, even though the victims bodies were viciously treated. World's top-rated detective L has been assigned this mystery but, can he manage to crack this case AND the Kira case as well? Can he manage with the pressure? Or has he managed to find a way in which ONI can help him catch Kira?

Here's a little preview of what it's like:
"W-what is the MEANING of this?" The computer screen flashed with green numbers for several seconds, then it went blank. "We must DO something! We've lost all information on the ONI!" Matsuda's screams were deafening to the rest of the team. But L, he was calm as if nothing had happened. The others were bewildered, they had lost all the information on the ONI case, and it had taken them months to find all that. A dark figure appeared next to the window, watching them, waiting. L turned around just in time to see the figure disappear.
-"How can you be so calm?!" Matsuda asked L.
-"Because, I believe...we no longer are in need of that information..."
-"That so?"
-"Indeed..."
-"Why do you think that?"
-"Because...I believe I have just found Oni...."
